You all have probably downloaded videos using various software and website till now. While some websites like keepvid.com is quite reliable, most video downloader are rigged with creepy adware. But we found out a great way of downloading any video, yes any video, irrespective of the website it is on, with just your Google Chrome browser. Like most internet users today, if you are already using chrome, then great; otherwise simply download the chrome browser.
So, here is how to download videos using Google Chrome browser:
Step 1: First you need to enable resource tracking option on your browser. For that go to the Google Chrome menu (the three horizontal lines on the right hand top of the page) and select “more tools” options. By clicking on ‘More tools” you’ll get another menu. Choose “Developer tools’ from there.
Step 2: You’ll reach a window with some tabs on the top of it. Choose the ‘resource’ option as shown in the screen shot.

Step 3: Once you click on the ‘Resource’ option, your resource tracking is enabled and you’ll see the below window on your page.
Step 4: Now, go to your favourite video using the address bar. Get the best quality video available. Generally the higher the size the better the quality is in terms of picture and sound clarity.
Step 5: Now select the longest resource request URL that you can see on your developer window. Copy the same and leave the page.
Step 6: Simply paste the copies URL on the address bar and press enter or click on ‘Go’. Now, as the video starts playing, give a right click on it and select ‘Save as’. Now save the video in your preferred location on your computer.

Mostly you’ll get MP4 and FLY format video on internet. MP4 videos can be played by double clicking on them. In case of FLY videos you may have to choose the ‘Play with VLC play’ option.
