How to disable the vibrations alerts in iOS9?

iOS 8 has got a lot of problems related to vibrations and this means users have to regularly turn off vibrations mode. If you feel comfortable leaving the iPhone buzzing along continuously to the beat of notifications then it’s just fine.

And just in case you want some hold over vibration alerts – there are only two options you have to opt out. If you want to disable vibrations in iPhone, this is the guide for you.

The first is to change your iPhone to Do Not Disturb status which will kill all your notifications and second is to stay calm till the public release of iOS9, which has got plenty of features to control vibrations.

Several curious people might already have the iOS9’s first beta version on their iPhone. Until Apple releases the final version of its new mobile OS, this guide should be helpful to you.

How to Disable the vibrations in iPhone

Use the following steps to disable vibrations in your iOS device:

  • Select Settings
  • Enter Vibration in the search bar (or you may do this in the traditional way by pressing General)
  • Go to Accessibility from there to Vibration
  • Then go to Vibration setting and disable it
  • This turns off all vibrations including the one set for alerting natural disasters

In iOS9, Apple provides preferences to systematize the vibration notifications for different events like Calendar, Voicemail, Mail, Texts, Ringer Alerts and lots more.

Managing Alerts in iOS9

Use the following steps to manage these alerts better:

  • Go to Settings
  • Then choose the menu for Sounds
  • Press on what you want to change
  • Choose None if you like to deactivate the alerts totally

To create a new alert go to Create New Vibration which is at the bottom and is the best one ever. It will take just a few more steps to define a new vibration. Name it and save it for you to use later.

Use these steps to easily disable the vibrations in iPhone if you have an iOS9 beta device. Apple has already unveiled its new mobile operating system at the WWDC. It has said that the final version will be released this fall.
