  • You can also consider running the sfc/ scannow command in Command Prompt, where you will have to start your PC in the safe mode> open CMD with the aid of administrative privilege>enter the command ‘sfc/scannow over there and wait for the scanning process to finish. This will help you find the corrupt file and also find a copy that is new from wherein you will install this new copy.
  • You can also try restarting the Windows PC you are working on by going to the start menu>click on the right side wherein it says ‘Shutdown’ >press on the Restart button.

  • Resetting your store cache by going to the start menu>going to CMD>typing the command WSReset.exe>Pressing the Enter button>wait a few minutes for it to reset the contents of Cache.
  • You can also turn off the fast startup option on your computer and to do this you must go to start menu>from there to Control Panel>Select Power option>Click the option that says “Choose what the power buttons do”>Then click on the option that says “Changes settings that are not available at the time>Unselect the “turn on fast startup” option.

  • Updating the Firmware of your SSD will need going to the start menu>then to the Control Panel>Click the “Device Manager” option>search for disk driver option>record the model number>search for the newest firmware>download and install the option.
  • Consider running a Windows Automatic Repair on your computer by going to the start menu>then to PC Settings>Click the Troubleshoot option>Click the option “Advanced Repair”>then the “Automatic Repair option.
  • Check for malware on your computer by going to the start menu>then to “Microsoft Security Essentials>select the “Full” option from the pop up that appears>click the Scan Now button.
  • You can also reset your device by running your computer in the safe mode>then go to PC Settings>Click “Update and Recover” option there>wait for it to process.
  • Disable all antivirus software from the device by opening the start menu>going to Control Panel>Choose option “Security” and go to security center>let Windows detect your Antivirus software>Provides Virus protection.
  • Checking for Windows App update by going to the start menu>launching the Windows Store>clicking on user icon>click on Settings>click Update Apps>Restart your PC.

  • Deleting third party drivers by going to the start menu>Click the option “My Computer”>Click Uninstall or change program”<select the driver you wish to uninstall>click Uninstall option.
  • Reinstalling Microsoft Edge Browser and running a powershell command by going to the start menu>typing “Windows PowerShell>Select “Run as Administrative”>Copy paste the command there>Restart the computer.
  • Check for Hardware failure by going to the start menu>click “Run” option>type command “mdsched.exe”>Press the Enter button.
