Whether you work for a big name corporation, or you just recently kicked off your first start up company, data management is definitely something you will have to deal with. Like it or not, we live in a modern age where dealing with files, different formats and exchanging data with your business partners are on a daily agenda.
File formats have been subject to conversion for a while now, which makes manipulating them significantly easier. A file format that’s commonly converted to and from is certainly the PDF. The Portable Document Format has been around for over 20 years, and is, simply said, the alpha and omega of non-corruptible data. Due to its nature of being a read-only format, PDF was never easy to edit, annotate, or search through. That is why converting it brings you new possibilities and opens a world of less stress and effort when it comes to data management.
For a successful businessman, or maybe an aspiring assistant, losing time on file management is a big no-no. So in order to put an end to that, here’s a quick guide on how to convert PDF to Word on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 1: Find PDF to Word on your AppStore
Open AppStore on your iOS device. In the upper right corner type PDF to Word in the search bar. Once the search result shows all the apps, look for the first result in the upper left corner.
Step 2: Download and find PDF to Word on your device
Once you found PDF to Word on the AppStore, click on the GET button to download it on your device. PDF to Word is free to download, so you won’t have to pay a cent before having a chance to use it. Once you’ve downloaded it, it will show up as the last app on the last screen of your device so you might have to do some swiping, or you can command Siri to “Open PDF to Word app”.
Step 3: Open PDF to Word on your device
As previously mentioned, you can open the app by finding it on screen, or commanding Siri to do it for you. Either way, once you open the app, you will see the main screen in front of you. From there you can select which file you want to convert. Also, below you can see all the files you have converted, as well as files that are in the process of conversion.
Step 4: Select the PDF file you want to convert
From the main screen, you can see which cloud services you can use to import your file. Whether it’s Gmail, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Box, you can select the file if you’ve placed it there on some previous occasion. Once you’ve selected your desired cloud service, you will see a list of all the PDFs on your cloud and simply by clicking on the file you will send it to the conversion server.

Select the file you wish to convert and the app will show you a preview of the PDF you selected. Once you confirm the conversion, it will show up back on the main screen above all the previously converted files.
Step 5: Wait for file to convert, and locate the file
Your newly converted .docx (standard MS Word file format) file will be on top of the list of converted files. Click on it and open to preview it, then click on the SHARE button in the bottom left corner. From that screen, select the app with which you want to edit this file.
Step 6: Rate PDF to Word and share your opinion!
Once you are back on the main screen, click on the OPTIONS button in the upper right corner, and select “Rate this app” from that menu. Give PDF to Word the number of stars it deserves in your opinion and let your friends know what kind of experience and thoughts you had while using it!
